Trick or Treat Night Halloween trick-or-treating

Players buy a candy bucket at the pumpkin stand, walk a neighborhood after dark and knock on doors with the porch light on. Most homeowners hand out candy, some play a trick, and now and then someone gives out a full-size bar.

Overview

Trick or Treat Night brings Halloween to your city. Candy trades in for cash or prizes, and a leaderboard keeps score for the season. It turns itself on in October and off after Halloween, so you can leave it installed.

How it plays

• Buy a candy bucket at the pumpkin stand. Houses taking part light up with a porch light, a pumpkin on the step and a blip on the map.
• Walk up to a lit door after dark and press E to knock.
• The homeowner opens up: a treat (1 to 3 candy), a full-size bar, a trick (a jumpscare, or you get egged), or nobody is home.
• Each house answers you once a night, so you keep moving down the street.
• Everyone nearby sees the same homeowner do the same thing.
• Back at the stand, sell candy and bars, swap candy for prizes and check the season leaderboard.

Installation

1. Extract rr-trickortreat into your resources folder and add 'ensure rr-trickortreat' after ox_lib, ox_inventory and oxmysql
2. Add the three items from install/items.lua to ox_inventory and copy the icons from install/images
3. Restart the server so ox_inventory picks up the items. The stats table creates itself
4. Optional: add your own houses in game with /trickortreat adddoor
