Realistic Fishing Cast, hook and fight
Charge the cast on a power meter, watch the bobber through a few nibbles and set the hook when it really goes under. Then fight it: keep the line tension in the green while the fish runs, and land it before it snaps the line or throws the hook.

Overview
Realistic Fishing is fishing that plays like fishing. Every catch is rolled on the server with its own weight, length and grade, so a trophy is something people talk about. 21 species live in the lakes, rivers, piers, surf and deep sea, and three protected ones bite mostly in the restricted water by the carrier.
How it plays
- Buy a rod and bait at Alamo Bait & Tackle, then use the rod near any water.
- Hold E to charge the cast and let go. The meter swings, so time the release for a long cast.
- The bobber nibbles a few times before the real bite. Strike early and you spook the fish.
- Fight it: hold LMB or E to reel and keep the tension in the green. When it runs, let it.
- Land it and a catch card shows the species, weight, length and grade. Sell fish back at the shop.
- Take a boat offshore and drop the anchor for tuna, mahi-mahi and swordfish.
- Protected species sell only to the Dockside Buyer at night, for marked bills, and landing one can bring the police.

Real Bites

Tension Fights
Hold to reel, ease off when it runs. Too much tension snaps the line, too little and it throws the hook.
Sized and Graded
Every fish has its own weight, length and grade, from Small to Trophy. Bigger fish sell for more, and records are kept.
21 Species
Lakes, rivers, piers, the surf and the deep sea. Each species has favorite baits, and some bite at night or in the rain.
Deep Sea and Poaching
Drop anchor offshore for tuna and swordfish. Protected species bite by the carrier and only sell at night, for marked bills.
Levels and Logbook
Levels 1 to 30 with perks you can feel, plus a logbook of personal bests and server records.

Setup
Installation
- Extract rr-fishing into your resources folder and add 'ensure rr-fishing' after its dependencies
- Add the items from install/items.lua to ox_inventory and copy the icons from install/images
- Restart the server so ox_inventory picks up the items. No SQL needed
