Moving Crew
Carry real furniture from a driveway into a Mule box truck, drive it across town and set every piece down at the new front door. Heavy pieces need two people, and a broken TV costs the crew its tip.
A co-op moving job for Qbox and QBCore servers. Players take a contract at the moving yard, carry real furniture props into a Mule box truck, drive it across town and set every piece down at the new front door.

How it works
- Taking a job — the boss at the depot (the Elysian Island docks by default) hands out jobs. The truck deposit comes from the bank, and the truck rolls out with the leader's keys.
- Crews — the leader can invite up to three nearby players. Everyone sees the same furniture and is paid for the pieces they delivered.
- Carrying — press E to lift a piece and E at the back of the truck to load it. Medium pieces stop you sprinting; heavy ones need a partner next to you.
- Delivering — at the drop-off, take pieces out one at a time and set them down by the front door.
- Breakage — a ragdoll or a real fall while carrying breaks the piece, and the crew loses its careful-mover tip.
- Returning the truck — park it on the yellow marker in the yard (
Config.Depot.truckReturn) and talk to the boss to get the deposit back. - Levels — XP from jobs and pieces raises your level: level 2 unlocks heavy pieces, level 3 unlocks bigger loads.
The job sheet
While a player is on a job, a clipboard on the right of the screen shows the order: pick-up and drop-off, which step they are on, how many pieces are in the truck or delivered, every piece and where it is (waiting, in your hands, in the truck, delivered, broken), the job value so far and whether the careful tip is still on. It updates for the whole crew as pieces move. F6 shows or hides it, and players can rebind it under Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM.
The sheet is a NUI page. After a first install, or an update from a build without it, run stop rr-moving-crew, refresh, start rr-moving-crew and reconnect, or restart the server.
Dependencies
- qbx_core or qb-core
- ox_lib
- oxmysql
- A vehicle key script. qbx_vehiclekeys and qb-vehiclekeys work out of the box; change
Config.GiveKeysfor others.
Installation
- Drop the resource into your resources folder (e.g.
resources/[custom]/rr-moving-crew) and addensure rr-moving-crewto yourserver.cfgafter ox_lib and oxmysql. - Start the server. The
rr_moving_statstable is created on first start (or importsql/install.sqlyourself). There are no items to add. - Optional: move things. Stand where you want the boss, the truck spawn or a house and copy your coords into
config.lua.
Configuration (config.lua)
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Config.Depot | Elysian Island docks | The boss ped and his spot, where the truck spawns (truckSpawn), where it gets parked at the end (truckReturn, returnRadius), the [E] range and the map blip |
Config.Truck.model | mule3 | The job truck. Plain mule is on the default Qbox entity blacklist and gets deleted on spawn, so the Mule ships as mule3 |
Config.Truck.rearOffset | -4.3 | Metres from the truck to its back doors, where pieces get loaded (Benson: -5.4) |
Config.Truck.deposit | $500 | Taken from the bank at the start, refunded when the truck is parked back in the yard |
Config.Addresses | 4 houses | Pick-up and drop-off houses: a yard where furniture waits, a door where it goes, and the way the rows face |
Config.Items | 9 pieces | Furniture model, weight class (light, medium, heavy) and carry pose |
Config.Loads / Config.Heavy | small, medium, large | What each load size contains. Heavy pieces join when the crew has 2+ movers and the leader is level 2 |
Config.Crew | max 4 | Crew size, invite range and how close a partner must be to lift a heavy piece |
Config.Pay | $120 / $220 / $400 | Pay per piece by weight class, the bank account, and the careful-mover tip (20%) |
Config.Levels | 500 XP a level | XP per piece and per job, and the levels that unlock heavy pieces (2) and large loads (3) |
Config.Sheet | on, F6 | The job sheet clipboard: on or off, the default key and the accent colour |
Config.PlaceRange | 120.0 | How close a player must be before the furniture is placed, so it lands on loaded ground |
Config.GiveKeys | qbx / qb keys | Gives the leader keys to the truck. Swap in your key script here |
Config.Text | English | Every line of text, including the job sheet, for translation |
Commands
| Command | Who | What it does |
|---|---|---|
/movingsheet (F6) | Everyone | Show or hide the job sheet |
/moving debug [id] | Admin | Show a player's job |
/moving cancel [id] | Admin | End a job and refund the deposit |
/moving truck [id] | Admin | Bring the job truck to a player |
Admin commands need the group.admin ace and also work from the server console.
Vehicle blacklist
Qbox ships qbx_entitiesblacklist, which deletes blacklisted models the moment they spawn, and plain mule is on its default list. That is why the job truck is mule3: the same Mule box truck. If you change Config.Truck.model, the server checks the blacklist at start and prints a warning when your model is on it.
